Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-07-11
Swag Store is run by one person, and this policy covers what little information the site handles. The short version: you can read everything here without handing over any personal details, and nothing is sold to anyone.
Information the site collects
There are no accounts and nothing to register for. If you write to me through the contact form, I receive the name you typed, your email address, and your message. That stays in this site’s own database and gets used for exactly one thing: replying to you. Beyond that, the server keeps standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) that exist to keep the site secure and working.
Cookies
Cookies are small files your browser stores. The site itself has no login and sets nothing you would miss, but the advertising and analytics partners described below may set cookies to do their jobs. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings and the site will keep working.
Advertising
Ads may appear on the site, served by third-party networks such as Google AdSense. These networks may use cookies, web beacons, or similar technologies to serve and measure ads, including ads based on your visits to this and other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies is described in its advertising policies. You can opt out of personalised advertising through aboutads.info, the NAI opt-out page, or your Google ad settings.
Affiliate links
Some articles link to products on Amazon through the Amazon Associates program. If you click one, Amazon sets cookies that attribute a later purchase to this site, and I earn a commission at no extra cost to you. What Amazon collects from you is governed by Amazon’s own privacy policy.
Analytics
The site uses Google Analytics for aggregated numbers: which pages get read, roughly where visitors come from (city level at most), and how they found the site. None of it identifies you personally, and I do not try to. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy, and the opt-out browser add-on switches it off entirely.
Your rights
Under privacy laws such as the Australian Privacy Act, the GDPR, and the CCPA, you can ask what personal information I hold about you and have it corrected or deleted. In practice that is usually just any email you have sent me. Use the contact form and I will sort it out.
Children
The site is written for a general adult audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Links to other sites
Articles link out to other websites. Their content and privacy practices are their own; this policy stops at this site’s edge.
Changes
If this policy changes in any meaningful way, the date at the top changes with it.
